hi there, and welcome to day one of Maia: Unfiltered! now, you must be asking yourself, “Maia, why in the world did you decide to start a blog out of the blue?"
well, i'm starting it for myself, of course, but also to prove a point to all of the people who've said, "You will never amount to anything."
instead of trying to prove to those people that i’m enough, i've decided to prove it to myself by starting this digital diary! i really can do anything that i set my mind to. wait a second! i haven’t properly introduced myself yet. my name is maia, duh, and currently i’m a sophomore in high school and I’ve been going through a lot.
i’ve been starting to deal with bullying but i don’t even know why! i’m just a regular schmegular girl, but they don’t really matter to me. what matters is that i’m doing something that i love.
i also love to hangout with my friends and my two brothers (who annoy the heck out of me!). i’ve played piano and taekwondo since first grade, i like to do arts and crafts, specifically, i like to crochet and do my own nails and i love to bake treats for my friends and family. so, i guess you could call me a little bit of a hobbyist.
with my new blog, i’m hoping to live out my 2000’s dream as well as have another creative outlet because, as you know, i’m pretty creative. i do like to sleep as well... a lot. but that's besides the point! taekwondo practice has been so exhausting lately, especially preparing for my 2nd degree black belt exam!
i’m a growing girl after all, i’ve got to get that sleep! sometimes i like to snooze my alarm, but whatever!!
